With the purpose of learning more about the application of artificial intelligence in real life, on the morning of July 20, 2022, at Dalat University Centre for Artificial Intelligence Education (AIC-DLU), lecturers and students of Dalat University attended a seminar with Mr. Le Chan Nhan, an information technology engineer working for Amazon in the US.

     The seminar was attended by Mr. Tran Duc Trung – Standing Deputy Secretary of Lam Dong Provincial HCM Communist Youth Union; Dr. Le Minh Chien – Secretary of the Party Committee, President of Dalat University, Mr. Tran Thong (MSc.) – Vice President of Dalat University; along with leaders and lecturers of AIC-DLU, Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science, Faculty of Information Technology, Faculty of Physics and Nuclear Engineering, and students of Dalat University.

     In his welcome speech, Dr. Le Minh Chien expressed his joy when lecturers and students of Dalat University were able to listen to the presentation from an engineer at Amazon – Top 5 leading technology companies in the world at the moment. The President also shared that Dalat University is currently improving and developing educational programmes to meet the human resource needs of society in the information technology industry in general and artificial intelligence in particular.

     From the general introduction about the Faculty of Information Technology and the educational programme in information technology of Dalat University presented by Dr. Tran Ngo Nhu Khanh (Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology), Mr. Le Chan Nhan gave sincere and frank comments about the IT educational programme of the University, as well as suggested directions to adjust and improve to meet the actual requirements of technology companies in the world. In addition, engineer Le Chan Nhan also shared about how to apply artificial intelligence to real life and the development potential of this industry in the future, thereby, showing ways and directions for development that lecturers and students of Dalat University can research and apply to adapt to Industry 4.0.
