On the afternoon of October 18, Dalat University held the opening ceremony of the political theory course for the candidates joining the Communist Party of Vietnam in 2022.
The opening ceremony was attended by representatives of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee: Mr. Nguyen Quoc Ky – Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee’s Organization Department; Mr. Nguyen Huu Khuyen – Deputy Head of Party Organization Department; Ms. Vu Thi Hong Vinh – Chief Specialist of the Propaganda Department of the Provincial Party Committee. On the side of the Party Committee of Dalat University, there were the attendance of Mr. Nguyen Van Vinh – Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of Dalat University Board of Trustees; Mr. Mai Minh Nhat – Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Vice president of Dalat University, and members in the Executive Committee of the Party Committee, representatives of the Party cells of the Party Committee of Dalat University.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the class, Mr. Nguyen Van Vinh – Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of Dalat University Board of Trustees emphasized that to be honored to stand in the ranks of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the candidates must have understanding of the Party; Must have the correct political views and stance, and be enlightened about the Party’s purposes and ideals; ready to perform the duties of a party member; must understand the history of the Communist Party of Vietnam, etc. Attending a training class for admissions to the Party is only the first step in the process of striving to be admitted to the Party, so the Deputy Secretary hoped that the candidates, after attending the course, will continue to apply the theoretical knowledge they have learned in practice, strive to practice political bravery, ethics and lifestyle, and raise the morale of the people, strive to soon be in the ranks of the Party. He asked the candidates to uphold the sense of responsibility, study seriously and strictly follow the classroom rules; actively study more documents, and enhance classroom discussion; study the lesson to get the most out of it. He also suggested that practitioners must well implement measures to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic.
During the period from October 18 to October 20, 2022, candidates will be taught 5 topics including: Overview of the history of the Communist Party of Vietnam; Studying and following Ho Chi Minh’s thought and moral example; The program on building the country in the transition to socialism; Basic contents of the Charter of the Communist Party of Vietnam; Strive to become a member of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
The course aims to help the candidates improve their political theory, deepen their understanding of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh’s thought, and the heroic history of the nation; thereby building a sense of cultivation and moral training as well as determining the direction to strive to become a member of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
