The ARRANGE team consisting of students from the Dalat University Faculty of Law Studies participated in the 2022 National mock trial contest – VMoot. After the preliminary round from August 7 to October 19, with more than 40 entries in the form of essays from universities across the country, the Dalat University team and 11 teams continued to advance to the quarterfinals.
On November 12, 2022, at Ho Chi Minh City University of Law, the quarter-finals took place under a fiery atmosphere with excellent arguments from 12 teams. With bravery, solid knowledge, logical reasoning and sharp defense, the ARRANGE team of Dalat University became one of the four best teams of the contest to advance to the semi-finals.
Although only stopping at the semi-finals of the contest, the ARRANGE team made great efforts to perform their role excellently, bringing eye-catching presentations, thereby demonstrating the position of the Dalat University Faculty of Law Studies. At the same time, through the Contest, Law students have also been infused with the passion for knowledge about the profession of litigation lawyers. The objective and meticulous comments of the Contest Jury will be a motivation for the students to improve and perfect themselves.
The mock trial contest – VMoot is an opportunity for Law students to experience being lawyers, research and solve legal issues to protect the rights and interests of the parties before the arbitration council. After being held 6 times, the National VMoot has become one of the academic contests that are always expected by law students every year.
