On the afternoon of August 19, 2021, Dalat University donated a value of 10 million VND to the Medical Centre of Ward 8, Dalat City for the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic.
Over the past time, the Medical Centre of Ward 8 – where Dalat University is located – has actively supported the University in primary health care, propaganda on food hygiene and safety, prevention and control of seasonal epidemics such as chickenpox, tuberculosis for staff and students of Dalat University. During the outbreak of the Covid-19 epidemic, the Medical Centre of Ward 8 regularly coordinated with the university to give measures to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic to all staff and learners of the University. Also during this time, medical staff in general and of the Medical Centre of Ward 8 in particular have to face many difficulties and potential risks of infection due to exposure to patients. Understanding the above difficulties, Dalat University hopes that this support will help to lighten the difficulties and hardships for medical staff, and at the same time contribute to the prevention and control work against the Covid-19 pandemic nationwide.
